The speed our culture lives in, and the speed our bodies' process at are very different. Western culture is built on systems that promote production, with our bodies as the worker bees that make the system run.
Yet our bodies run on their own time. I like to call it nature time, and it is often at odds with the rest of our lives.
Essentially we want our bodies to process things faster then is possible. The body is slower than the mind, and needs much more time to settle, orient to its surroundings and complete its processes.
If you find yourself rushing around in a haze, try this...
Allow yourself a minute or two for your body to arrive in each place that you go to, before you go ahead and get stuck into whatever tasks you need to complete in your new surroundings.
Just this small amount of time will give your body time to orient.
You will feel more grounded whilst in this new place
Your mind will be clearer
You will be more present
Your body will have time to get its intuition together
Bodily wisdom will increase
and insights will come because you are more centered, aligned, present and connected.
The more you allow your body time to relax and orient every time you transition from place to place, the more your body will open to you, and the deeper your body magic will go.
Try it and see.
