Non - Linear Movement works with the nervous system and helps to release whatever emotional, physical and mental contractions are held in the body. The nervous system is key to our bodies having healthy functionality.

The creator of Non - Linear Movement is Michaela Boehm.
I found Michaela Boehms work after a long journey of healing, particularly with my sexuality. I held a deep dissatisfaction with everyday life and was very shutdown emotionally.
Some of the things I tried were Jade Eggs / Taoist sexual practice ,Rebirthing Breathwork, Shamanic Breathwork, Ayahuasca, Chinese medicine, Vaginal De armouring and some light Tantra exercises. I also read many books on the body, spirit and sexuality.
However it was the work of Michaela Boehm that has truly been profound for me.
Through engaging in regular Non - Linear Movement® my body started to unwind stress and tension and I felt a profound sense of wellbeing, pleasure and connection to my body.
Non - Linear Movement works on multiple levels of awareness. I came to it though a particular lens but the practice has multiple applications and is extremely practical.

Non - Linear Movement works with the participants individual process.
There is no group work, no touching, and it is non - directive.
There is no choreography or postures to follow and all participants move with their eyes closed.
Participants decide, by listening to their bodies, how they specifically want to move in the moment.
This method can be applied independent of fitness level or age and adjusted to fit anyone’s individual needs.
That makes it is extremely accessible to all.

Is set up similar to a yoga class with each participant taking a mat.
Participants move with eyes closed, independently of each other, following their own bodily wisdom.
There are no dance moves, choreography or postures to follow.
Participants are held lovingly with gentle voice prompts and music.
The class is not a dance class but is movement based.
Each participant focuses on their inner experience.
Sessions take place in a safely held space, and are guided by voice and specifically chosen music.
